Program Terminologies Updated
September 21, 2011 – 1:45 pmIn an effort to lessen confusion and align our terms with industry norms, we are changing two terms in our TaxWorks and 1040Works tax software and documentation.
Beginning in 2011, the RedGear Program Upgrader will be referred to as Updater. What was referred to as Update Clients will change to Proforma Clients.
We will remind you of the new terminology when you install the program. You will notice the changes when using the program helps, reference manual and other documentation.
