IRS Phone App
April 25, 2011 – 10:37 amThe IRS has a new, free smartphone app called IRS2Go that can be used to check the status of federal refunds as well as access other tax information. This tool is especially handy right now for taxpayers who filed extensions.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Android Marketplace. Like the “Where’s My Refund?” feature on the IRS website, taxpayers can enter their SSN, filing status, and expected 2010 refund amount to check the status of their refunds.
