Schear Lending Group Joins RedGear to Offer Cash Advances

Dayton, OH – Schear Lending Group has partnered with RedGear Technologies® and Atlas Financial Services to offer a cash advance connected with a tax refund in select states.

This relationship will allow qualifying tax preparers using RedGear tax software, marketed under brands such as “TaxWorks” and “1040Works” to offer a cash advance to taxpayers expecting a refund. Chris Henn, Chief Financial Officer for Schear Lending Group said, “We are excited to work with RedGear Technologies to bring this alternative financial product to taxpayers needing quicker access to their funds.”

Cash Advance and QIK funds will be disbursed via check or direct deposit for the 2012 tax season. The Tax Season Cash Advance is a short-term loan using the taxpayer’s expected refund as collateral. A QIK financial product is a method for tax preparers to collect their fees directly from the client’s refund.
